Six killed, over a dozen injured after two UPSRTC buses collide head-on in Lucknow | Lucknow News

LUCKNOW: At least six individuals have been killed and over a dozen injured after an Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus carrying 26 passengers from Lucknow collided head-on with one other UPSRTC bus coming from Hardoi in Kakori on Wednesday morning.
The accident happened at Lucknow-Hardoi freeway close to Amethiya flip below Kakori police station space.
Police stated that prima facie it seems that the bus carrying passengers from Lucknow was overtaking a truck when one other bus coming from other way collided with it head-on.
Due to the affect, each the buses suffered dents, stated Zuheb, the truck driver who narrated the incident to the police.
A police staff reached the spot to rescue the passengers. The injured have been taken to KGMU hospital in Lucknow.
A probe within the incident has been ordered by MD UPSRTC.
