NEW DELHI: The health ministry has requested all of the states to deal with the quarantine period of doctors and well being staff as “on obligation” amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a letter to the chief secretaries of the states and Union territories, administrators of all of the AIIMS and administrators and medical superintendents of central authorities hospitals dated August 6, Joint Secretary within the well being ministry Lav Agarwal has stated the quarantine interval of medical doctors and well being staff for his or her duties associated to Covid-19 shall be handled as “on obligation”.
