CHENNAI: DMK Lok Sabha member Kanimozhi had an disagreeable expertise when a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officer at Chennai airport requested her whether or not she was an “Indian” after the MP requested the latter to talk in English.
“Today on the airport a (girl) CISF officer requested me if ‘I’m an Indian’ after I requested her to talk to me in Tamil or English as I didn’t know Hindi. I want to know from when being Indian is the same as figuring out Hindi,” the Tuticorin MP tweeted.
Kanimozhi quickly discovered help from Congress Lok Sabha member Manickam Tagore, who was elected from the Virudhunagar parliamentary seat. “Condemnable! His effort didn’t go waste, as CISF responded rapidly and promised applicable motion.
