PATNA: The flood situation in Bihar remained grim on Monday with 20,000 extra folks affected by the calamity in 16 districts up to now 24 hours, a Disaster Management Department bulletin stated.

A complete of 5.08 lakh folks have been evacuated from the deluge-hit areas to this point throughout joint rescue operations carried out by 20 groups of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and 13 groups of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), it stated.
