PATNA: The surging floods in Bihar have unfold to 11 districts, affecting almost 15 lakh individuals within the state. Relief and rescue operations by the state authorities haven’t proved enough. Major rivers within the state are in spate and flowing above the hazard mark.

In Bihar, nearly all rivers are flowing above the hazard mark. Rivers comparable to Ganga, Bagmati, Budhi, Gandak, Kamala Balan, Mahananda and Ghaghra have been flowing above the hazard mark in lots of areas.

He stated that meals packets are dropped by helicopters for flood-affected individuals. People have taken shelter at greater reaches on nationwide highways and embankments.
However, individuals complain that authorities lacks in offering enough facility to the flood-hit. The scenario in Gopalganj, Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur has worsened. Many flood-affected persons are residing within the streets of Gopalganj and Muzaffarpur.
