Two UP govt college academics suspended for not hoisting tricolour

BANDA (UP): Two academics in Uttar Pradesh’s Banda district have been suspended for not hoisting the nationwide flag in a authorities college on the Independence Day, an official mentioned on Sunday.

According to Basic Education Officer Harishchandra Nath, the motion was taken towards the academics after a video was obtained which confirmed that nationwide flag was not hoisted at a higher main (Class 6 to Class 8) authorities college in Sirsauna village in Naraini space of the district on the Independence Day.

Nath mentioned, “headmaster Manoj Ahirwar and assistant instructor Ganga Pooja have been suspended with fast impact.”

Block Education Officer of Jaspura and Kamasin blocks have been requested to probe the matter and submit their stories inside 15 days, the officer mentioned.
