PANAJI: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday mentioned no choice has been taken on beginning the brand new tutorial session within the state, which has been delayed as a result of COVID-19 pandemic.

The choice to begin the educational yr shall be taken relying on the rules of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), he mentioned whereas interacting with college students.

“When we face a pandemic state of affairs, we’re not certain when the colleges and schools will precisely reopen,” he mentioned.

Whenever the educational yr begins, the state authorities will begin Standard 10 and 12 lessons within the first part, he added.

Responding to a different query, the chief minister mentioned that the state authorities will appoint businesses to information the scholars to look for aggressive examinations.

Six schools within the state can have centres to information the scholars for such exams subsequent yr, he added.

Sawant mentioned the state authorities will tie up with nationalised banks to supply interest-free funding to college students to pay the charges for skilled schools.
