China to boost points surrounding WeChat, TikTok in commerce talks with US: Report

NEW DELHI: Trade negotiators from the United States and China will talk about the implementation of the section one commerce deal within the coming days, with China prone to carry up points surrounding TikTok and WeChat, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing sources.
Agricultural purchases and the dollar-yuan trade charge may even be among the many matters to be mentioned within the digital assembly which will happen as early as this week, although a date has not been finalized, in accordance with the report.
Last week, US President Donald Trump unveiled bans on US transactions with the China-based house owners of messaging app WeChat and video-sharing app TikTok.
The report comes a day after White House financial adviser Larry Kudlow stated that the US-China commerce deal was in “wonderful” form, regardless of current tensions between the 2 international locations over Hong Kong, the dealing with of the coronavirus outbreak, information safety and commerce tariffs.
